IFTA provides for the uniform administration of motor fuels use taxation for motor carriers operating in multiple member jurisdictions. This system has been designed to permit motor carriers to order the IFTA license and decals, renew the IFTA license, file IFTA tax returns, make IFTA payments, and communicate with the Michigan Department of Treasury in a safe and secure electronic environment.
